The tubedrve 19″ utilises 2 pentode tubes per unit. The 6AS6 vacuum tube can be switched from pentode to triode operation. Triode mode provides a smoother type of overdrive with more ‘even harmonics’. Pentode mode provides an aggressive distortion with more ‘odd harmonics’.
Tubedrve 19″ has an analog stereo filter which allows the user to only distort the high or low frequencies, among other operation modes.
The unit provides parallel operation and two meters to indicate the distortion level.
Controls are stepped and matched for stereo use. Bias controls are on rotary switches to minimise stereo drift.
A simplified overview of how the tubedrve 19″ works can be found in the manual at the bottom of this page.
You can find an overview video at the bottom of this page. There will be more demos on specific features of the tubedrve 19″.
The tubedrve 19″ is priced at 1149 euros, excl. any applicable sales tax. An IEC cord is not included as this product ships internationally.

As an educator and producer, the Tubedrve has become one of those pieces we reach for when a mix or stem feels too clean or when we want to give it some character. On electronic material especially, it adds depth and movement in a way that feels musical rather than forced. The parallel ability makes it easy to introduce harmonics without losing transients or low-end focus, and the bias and filtering options let you be very intentional about where the saturation lives. It also shaves off top-end digital harshness, giving the material a more musical and organic feel. Even when used subtly, it works incredibly well on buses and even on a master, adding density and dimension without calling attention to itself. Will be recommending this to all colleagues and students. It makes a great starter piece for anyone who wants to get into analog, but make no mistake this is also a staple piece in a PRO’s room.
